BUDGET WORKSHOP SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

Call To Order:

Supervisor Davis opened the meeting at 12;00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Supervisor Davis Public Comment:

The Auditors had locked themselves out of the conference room and needed assistance in getting the door unlock. Joey Matthews arrived, leaving his place of business on short notice and got the door opened for us. We sincerely appreciate and thank him for his public service to the Town of Vienna.

Northshore Ambulance:

Was requested to be here on this day, however they are out of town today and wanted us to know that they are making no changes to the 2024 proposed budget, it will be the same as the 2023 contract with no provisions.

Supervisor Davis

A Legal Notice was to be put in the Queen Central that on November 8, 2023, a Public Hearing for the 2024 tentative budget would open up at 7:00pm and at 7:05pm a discussing the Northshore Ambulance 2024 contract.

Budget Officer:

Stated that the highway budget was in good shape. Permanent Improvements to be increased by $15,000 which will be offset by Chip funds and Road Sand would be decreased by $100,000. We also have not received Sylvan Beach FD or North Bay FD 2024 budgets. Supervisor Davis to follow up on this.

Executive Session:

A motion was made by Supervisor Davis and Second by Darrin Smith to go into Executive Session at 1:20. Motion Carried. No action taken.
