Town Clerk:

I, Patricia A Cook, Town Clerk for the Town of Vienna, have on this 27th day of September provided the Town Board the 2024 Tentative Budget.

Pledge of Allegiance:

Supervisor Davis opened the meeting at 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Budget Officer:

Supervisor Davis stated that this is the first of three budget meetings and turned the meeting over to the Budget Officer. The Budget Officer stated that the 2024 tentative budget was in good shape. He also provided an overview to the summary page of the budget. He then went through the detail of the following:

A Fund – General Townwide:

Budget Officer requested that three of the board members reach a consensus of a yes or no to proposed changes within the Tentative Budget.

Overall Salary Rate Increase 4% Salary Rate Increase Yes

Tax Collector Budget Reduced Personnel Services to

$10,800 and increased Contractual to $6,000

Budget Officer Approved Yes

Judge Budget Was requesting a 5% increase in Personal service

Town Clerk Budget Reduced Deputy Clerk’s salary to $5,800 and deferred it over to the Tax Collector Budget.

Supervisor Davis suggested that we address this issue at the next session and that Judge Coady attend the next meeting.

A motion to adjourn at 8:54pm was made by Councilman Spellicy and seconded by Councilman Jordan.
