Town of Vienna Town Board Special Meeting

Interview Candidates for Council and Judge Vacancies

Meeting Called to order at 4:10pm.

Jason Spellicy , Jason Lamb, and Darrin Smith in Attendance Councilwoman McEwen arrived at 5pm.

Motion made by Councilman Lamb to enter executive session for personnel matters at 4:11pm, Seconded by Councilman Smith. All in favor, motion carried.

Councilman Lamb left meeting at 6:10pm due to other obligations.

Motion to return from executive session, no action taken, made by Acting Supervisor Spellicy at 6:35pm, seconded by Councilwoman McEwen. All in favor motion carried.

Board discussion (Spellicy, Smith, and McEwen) regarding all applicants and necessary order of appointments to determine the best candidates for each vacancy.

Motion made by Acting Supervisor Spellicy to appoint Jason Lamb, pending resignation from his council seat , to the judges vacancy effective January 1, 2026. (Judge Coady's Seat). Seconded by Councilman Smith. All in favor, motion carried. Councilman Lamb will submit his letter of resignation on or before December 31, 2025.

Motion made by Acting supervisor Spellicy to appoint Theodore Learned and Doug Jordan to fill the vacant council seats created by the resignations of Councilman Lamb (Judge Appointee) and Councilman Spellicy (Town Supervisor), seconded by Councilwoman McEwen. All in Favor (Spellicy, Smith, McEwen), motion carried .

Motion to adjourn at 6:48pm made by Councilwoman McEwen and seconded by Councilman Smith. All in favor, meeting adjourned
