Ethics Board Minutes

April 21, 2021

Present: 

Ethics Board Members – Joyce Palmer, Mable Smith, Darrin Smith and Tina DiIorio

Meeting called to order at 7:04 PM, by Darrin Smith with a quorum present.

A motion to approve the Ethics Board minutes from the October 21,2020 meeting was made by Darrin Smith with a second from Joyce Palmer. All in favor, motion carried.

A motion to approve the Ethics Board 2020 Annual Report was made by Joyce Palmer with a second by Tina DiIorio. All in favor, motion carried.

The Ethics Board discussed the frustrations of not being able to sustain a full board.  Darrin Smith mentioned the position had been advertised but was not aware of any applicants to fill the vacant position.

There was a discussion of modifications to the Advisory Letter to the Town Board addressing a complaint from 2/1/21. Adjustments were made and agreed upon. Darrin Smith will forward the final draft to the Town Board.

Darrin Smith made a motion that Joyce Palmer serve as Chairman for 2021, seconded by Mable Smith. All in favor, motion carried.

Joyce Palmer made a motion that Darrin Smith serve as Secretary for 2021, seconded by Tina DiIorio. All in favor, motion carried.

The next Ethics Board meeting is scheduled for July 21, 2021 @ 7:00 PM.

Having no other business to conduct, Darrin Smith made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Joyce Palmer. All in favor, motion carried; 7:38 PM.
