Supervisor Graham called the meeting to order at 2:00PM.  Pledge of Allegiance.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION: PERSONNEL ISSUES

A motion was entertained by Supervisor Graham and seconded by Councilman Davis to enter into executive session for personnel issues at 2:02pm.  Motion carried.

COMPREHENSIVE COMMITTEE:

A motion was entertained by Councilman Lamb and seconded by Councilwoman Whitham to create a comprehensive committee chaired by Councilman Davis with all of the past volunteers to work on getting the comprehensive plan passed with all of the proper steps.  Motion carried.

The Town Clerk asked the board to make a motion to go out to bid for a contractor to build the closet for the server, install a window to work out of in the Assessors office and install a door with a window and slot in the Judges Chambers for the clerks to accept payments through.

 

A motion was entertained by Supervisor Graham and seconded by Councilman Lamb to go out to bid for a contractor to build the closet for the server, install a window to work out of in the Assessors office and install a door with a window and slot in the Judges Chambers for the clerks to accept payments through.  The Town Clerk will show any and all bidders what the town is looking for.  Motion carried.

The Town Clerk made the board aware of some issues that had gone on in the Town Hall the day before and why the doors were locked.

 

There was discussion that some upgrades to our locks were necessary so the doors could stay locked at all times and people could be buzzed into the Town Hall upon arrival and identification.

 

After much discussion the board wants to make sure they are following the Town Ethics Law.

 

A motion was entertained by Councilman Lamb and seconded by Supervisor Graham to have the Town Attorney review the Ethics Law and the Ethics Board’s opinion given about the formal complaint at hand.  The board would like the Attorney to write a letter with the town’s position to the individual named in the complaint.  Motion carried.
