Law 2 of 2011 – Clarify Water Assessments

LAW #2 OF 2011 Amending Local Law #3 of 2008 to Clarify the Benefit Formula used to Levy Water Assessments in Hamlet of Vienna Water District Extension #1 Local Law #3 of 2008 established a Benefit Formula for application throughout all of the water districts in the Town of Vienna. Law #3 of 2008 is hereby amended to limit its application only to the water districts in the Town of Vienna other than the Hamlet of Vienna Water District Extension #1

Law 3 of 2012 – rescinding law classifying Supervisor as full time

Local Law #3 of the Year 2012 Rescinds the law that the town board made classifying the position of the Supervisor as full time. Section I. Local No. #14 of the year of 2008 establishing the position of the Town Supervisor as full time is repealed in its entirety. The Town Board of the Town of Vienna declares the position of the Town Supervisor to be a part time position.

Local Law # 1 of 2012 ENACTING A SLIDING SCALE REAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND LIMITED INCOMES PURSUANT TO SECTION 459-c OF THE NEW YORK STATE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW Intent: To assist persons with disabilities and living on limited incomes with the affordability of their real property by enacting a sliding scale tax exemption pursuant to the authority vested in the town by Section 459-c of the Real Property Tax Law.
